TECHNOLOGIES!!!
The last reading I've done, for my computer class, open me to a new vocabulary of Software. I didn't know much about it and I found it quit interesting to know what was going on in this industry. Eventhough it's not really one of my field of interest. I think more you hear about it a better inrest will grow for it. So as I said, after reading Sortware Industry vs. Software Society: Who Wins in 2020?, I was surprised to read that the proprietary software model therefore limits innovation to 1/6th of its theoretical potential. I though that everytime they found something new the proprietary would rush to put it online as soon as they can. I couldn't believe it. So I haven't seen the 5/6th of what's coming next yet!!! I can't wait to see it.
It was also the first time I realised that open source has opened innovation in this industry. I can't wait to see who will win the battle and what's coming next. I know it will always be for our best interest!

Which identity?
Every times there is something new, we all think this will be better because it’s new. Just like a baby! But the reality is that it makes significant impact in our life.
We don’t even think about what can happen if……? It’s not part of us, we trust what's new. We love new stuff and we are always ready for what’s coming next. We are so happy and excited with all the new technologies that have been creating since the last decade. But have we thought these technologies might change our life? I don’t think so!
What about your identity!!! Have you thought about it? I didn’t as much as right now since Mark made us realize the importance of it. Our identity! Is it becoming a new reality of having it stolen from you or what? I have heard so many times that people around me got their identity stolen from them. One of my friend told me during Holidays that someone had apply for a Future Shop credit card on his name with all his personal information. About two weeks later, my friend received a new credit card from the mail and couldn’t remember when he had applied for this card and why he already had a bill from it. Can you imagine how he felt to know that someone else was using his own identity? I would feel like someone have been cheating with MY LIFE. It’s kind of scary to hear about a story like this but it’s truthful. Keep your eyes wide open, you never know!!!
